Triton 5K Race Dashes into UC San Diego
For more than 17 years, the Triton 5K (formerly the Chancellor's Challenge 5K Run/Walk for Scholars) raised more than $3 million to benefit students.

Attention runners and UC San Diego faculty, students and staff, are you ready to dash through campus on Saturday?
UC San Diego Triton 5K Race for the Future will feature a new 3.1-mile course racing by renowned art pieces from the Stuart Collection, pep bands and cheerleaders.
Organizers are expecting 2,500 community members, faculty and alumni to run the race.
A new event this year will feature a 100-meter dash kids fun run. After the race, participants and supports can check out the event festival, healthy living fair and more.

Proceeds will benefit funds needed for undergraduate scholarships. Triton 5K will take off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 at UC San Diego Track and Field Stadum. For more info, visit 5k.ucsd.edu.
