1 Dead In Bundy Canyon Road Crash

WILDOMAR, CA — A crash early Tuesday morning at the Menifee-Wildomar border left one person dead, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department officials confirmed.

The crash involving a motorcyclist and vehicle was reported at 5:09 a.m. on Bundy Canyon Road near Sunset Avenue, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

According to witness reports, the motorcyclist was killed in the incident.

Bundy Canyon Road, between Murrieta Road and Harvest Road, was closed for several hours while officers investigated the crash, the Menifee Police Department reported.

The crash cause remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Menifee police officers were also at the crash scene investigation.
