6 Arrested During Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Crackdown

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A “Zero Tolerance” enforcement operation in the cities of Lake Elsinore and Wildomar that ran Dec. 31 through Jan. 4 netted six arrests, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.

Those arrested included:

  • John Veitch, 36, of Perris for a misdemeanor arrest warrant
  • Angela Perry, 22, of Lake Elsinore for a misdemeanor arrest warrant
  • Dale Smith, 74, of Wildomar for a misdemeanor arrest warrant
  • Benham Haynes, 24, of Wildomar for a felony arrest warrant
  • Joseph Gonzales, 47, of Lake Elsinore for a felony arrest warrant
  • Sinue Hernandez, 27, of Lake Elsinore for a felony arrest warrant

The Zero Tolerance operation was an effort by deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station to curb criminal activity in the cities they patrol, according to the sheriff's department. During the operation, 17 traffic stops were conducted, 45 people were contacted for various reasons, and several calls for service we handled, the sheriff's department reported.

All arrestees were booked at the Cois Bryd Detention Center.
