7 Arrested In 'Quality Of Life' RivCo Operation
Wednesday's sweep was a collaboration between the Homeless Outreach Team, Riverside County Code Enforcement and deputies.

PERRIS, CA — As part of its "community policing" effort between law enforcement and citizens, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department held a "Quality of Life" operation Wednesday that netted seven arrests in the Mead Valley area, officials said.
Deputies from the Perris sheriff's station fielded specific complaints from community members regarding such activities as trespassing and drug use in the area that led to this week's targeted outreach and enforcement sweep, the agency said.
The Perris Station Special Enforcement Team, in collaboration with the Homeless Outreach Team and Riverside County Code Enforcement, arrested seven individuals on varying charges, with information and offers then extended for resources for housing and substance abuse.
