Arrest Announced In Lake Elsinore Killing, More Suspects Sought
Joshua Emanuel Navarro, 18, of Lake Elsinore was arrested on suspicion of killing Blake Paine, 19, of Wildomar; more suspects are sought.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — An arrest was announced Friday in the shooting death of a 19-year-old Wildomar man found wounded in Lake Elsinore Sunday, and investigators believe there may be other suspects out there.
Joshua Emanuel Navarro, 18, of Lake Elsinore was booked into Southwest Detention Center Monday evening on suspicion of murder in connection with the killing of Blake Paine. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, according to jail records.
Navarro is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon on a charge of murder with a sentence-enhancing allegation of using a firearm; a charge of assault with a semiautomatic firearm on another victim; and a charge of illegally possessing a firearm.

Paine was found shot around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Riley Street in Lake Elsinore. He was hospitalized but died from his injuries, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
A possible motive for the killing has not been disclosed, but the sheriff's department announced Friday that investigators believe there may be additional suspects outstanding.
