LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Southwest Riverside County residents will soon have a new place to take their bikes out, as Lake Elsinore opens a new BMX track on Wednesday. The new addition, along with a dog park, opens at Serenity Park on Wednesday, May 24 at 4 p.m.
"Bring your bike and your helmet to ride the track," a city announcement for the opening states. "Bring your pet to enjoy the dog park as well! Light refreshments will be available."
The BMX track is a "pump track," meaning that riders can get through the entire course without having to pedal. It's approximately 12,600 square feet of dirt formed track with a six inch asphalt cap.
