The media has criticized the Occupy groups for not having a central theme and for not listing their demands. Carl, when interviewed by a reporter from NBC News, said he was in San Diego because of his dissatisfaction with what is happening in America. He grew up poor in the South Bronx and this country gave him the opportunity to make a better life for our family. The political climate today will not give our children and grandchildren the same opportunities unless Americans wake up and demand that our government act on behalf of its citizens and not on behalf of its benefactors in the corporate world.
