Car Smashes Through Lake Elsinore Urgent Care Window

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A car struck and shattered the front window of the Lake Elsinore Urgent Care Thursday morning, officials say.

Shortly before 11:45 a.m., a vehicle "rolled forward" into the glass window of the Accelerated Urgent Care, located at 29997 Canyon Hills Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, who arrived at the scene.

Officials said the driver apparently lost control and drove into the window.

"There were no injuries and there was no sign of structural damage to the building," Cal Fire spokesperson Rob Roseen said.

Staff escaped unscathed, and no one in the waiting room was injured. The motorist's identity was not disclosed, and the Urgent Care remained open following the incident.
