CHP Asks for Public's Help in Solving Deadly Hit, Run of Bicyclist on Cajalco Road
The agency is again reaching out to the public, in the hopes of solving this case.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in tracking down the driver of a pickup truck who hit a bicyclist along Cajalco Road late last month, causing fatal injuries to the man.
On Sunday, July 31, a vehicle veered to the right of the roadway and collided with a man who was riding a bike in the area of Cajalco and Wood, the agency previously reported. The male victim, whose name and age have not been publicly released, was pronounced dead at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
With the public's help, CHP officials say they were able to identify the victim. Now, they are hoping the public can help find the suspect.

The CHP described the suspected hit-and-run vehicle as possibly being a 2008-2014 model Ford pickup truck. They are unsure of the color, but say there will likely be damaged on the front, right-hand side. It may also have a broken headlight.
"The Riverside CHP Area is releasing this information again in hopes to receive further assistance from the public regarding this fatal hit and run," Dan Olivas with the CHP said Wednesday.
