'Clean LE' Litter Removal Event #5 Is Nearing

LAKE ELSINORE-WILDOMAR,CA - From the City of Lake Elsinore: The City of Lake Elsinore is continuing the Clean LE litter removal program throughout this summer. The next event will take place at City Park from 8 am to 11 am on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

This summer, the City of Lake Elsinore launched the Clean LE Team to engage local volunteers who love where they live to join in our efforts to keep Lake Elsinore clean, beautiful and litter-free.

Clean LE Litter Pick Up Event #5 will take place on and around Main St. and the Downtown area. All volunteers are welcome to come the morning of ready to serve. The City is hosting one clean up event per week over the remaining 2 weeks. These clean ups focus on litter and recyclable removal along high profile roadways and nearby parks.

Key Areas for Clean Up (in order of priority):

1. Sidewalk and Parkways – S. Main St. from Library St. to E. Graham Ave.
2. Sidewalk and Parkways – N. Main St. to the 7-Eleven Shopping Center
3. Sidewalk and Parkways – W. Graham to Silver St. (in front of Elsinore Middle School)
4. Sidewalk and Parkways – Limited St. to S. Poe St.
5. Sidewalk and Parkways – Lakeshore Drive from S. Poe St. to Lowell St.
6. Sidewalk and Parkways – Riverwalk from Graham Ave to Elm Grove Beach
7. Sidewalk and Parkways – Riverwalk from Graham Ave to W. Flint St.
8. City Park – Particularly Parking Lot and Pedestrian Pathways at park

SAFETY is our ultimate priority. ALL volunteers will be REQUIRED to USE SIDEWALKS and CROSS WALKS ONLY. And use extreme CAUTION in PARKING LOTS while walking to and around litter removal location sites.
