Did You Feel The 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake, Lake Elsinore?
The USGS says the quake was centered north of Joshua Tree.

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake stuck the Riverside County area at 7:32 a.m., centered 38 miles north of Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to the USGS, the quake was centered:
- 8km (5mi) WSW of Ludlow, California
- 48km (30mi) WNW of Amboy, California
- 63km (39mi) N of Joshua Tree, California
- 64km (40mi) NNW of Twentynine Palms, California
- 75km (47mi) ESE of Barstow, California
- 76km (47mi) ESE of Barstow, California
The quake was widely felt through Riverside County, with people as far away as Indian Wells, Beaumont, Yucaipa, Temecula and Murrieta saying they noticed the quake via the ‘did you feel it?’ app.
