Eighth annual Southern California Tasting & Auction at Cal Poly Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona will host its eight annual Southern California Tasting & Auction.

Savor a day of wine and roses at the 2015 Southern California Tasting & Auction at Cal Poly Pomona’s Rose Garden on Sunday, May 3. The eighth annual event is quickly blossoming into one of Southern California’s premier spring celebrations.

The tranquil Rose Garden and Aratani Japanese Garden provide a beautiful setting for guests to sample cuisine from Southern California’s most popular restaurants and savor a wide selection of unique wines and craft beer. Auctions and live music add to the festive ambience.

Featuring tantalizing creations from executive chefs, delightful wines, craft-beer tastings, a fast-paced live auction of unique items, a silent auction and live jazz performances throughout the day.

Proceeds will benefit the 21,000 students at Cal Poly Pomona and enrich academic programs and opportunities. The event also highlights the university’s significant role and impact in the region.

Ticket price is $60.

The Southern California Tasting & Auction will be held from 1 to 4 p.m.
