Free Hazardous Waste Collection in Lake Elsinore This Weekend
It's a great chance to get rid of your household hazardous and electronic waste!

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Lake Elsinore residents, along with any other Riverside County residents, are encouraged to safely dispose of any household hazardous or electronic waste they may have at a free event planned for this Saturday, Dec. 3.
The collection is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the public works yard. That is located at 512 N. Langstaff.
"City and county residents may drop off hazardous household products and electronic discards at no charge during our monthly household hazardous waste disposal events," an announcement for the disposal event states.

According to the county's department of waste resources, typical wastes include used motor oil, paint, antifreeze, household and automotive batteries, pesticides, cleaning products, sharps (needles/syringes or lancets), unused medication (except controlled substances), fluorescent lamps, and electronic wastes such as televisions, computers, VCRs and telephones
You are limited to a total chemical load to less than 15 gallons or 125 pounds, per California's maximum transportation limit.
