Free Women's Safety, Self-Defense Workshop Open to Lake Elsinore Residents

The community is invited to head out to the Murrieta Family YMCA this Saturday, Feb. 20, for a free self-defense course aimed at teaching women the skills to stay safe in a “threatening situation.”

The event will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at 39573 Los Alamos Road. It’s open to women and girls ages 14 and up.

There is no cost to participate, Patch is told.
