Heads Up! Lane Closures Next Week On Ortega Highway
Caltrans officials say crews are scheduled cut vegetation along the shoulders of the highway, as well as repair gaps.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA - Portions of the Ortega (74) Highway near Lake Elsinore will be narrowed to one lane next week while crews conduct maintenance along a stretch of the two-lane corridor, but traffic delays should be minimal, according to Caltrans.
Agency spokeswoman Shelli Lombardo said crews will be cutting vegetation along the shoulders of the highway, as well as repairing gaps, cleaning culverts and sweeping out drains, between Lookout Point and Grand Avenue.
"Crews will work a one-mile segment each day and one way traffic control will be in effect. Minimal delays are anticipated," officials said in a news release.
