I-15 Slows For Dump Truck Cleanup, Multi-Car Injury Crash
Monday morning traffic ground to a halt on the I-15 northbound after a two-vehicle crash scattered a rocky load across freeway lanes.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The I-15 Freeway northbound through Eastvale was slowed Monday after a dump truck and several other vehicles collided just south of State Route 60. Traffic remained ground to a halt at 8 a.m. as emergency responders worked the scene, attending the injured, towing vehicles from the freeway and attempting to clean up the rocky mess.
Northbound traffic had stalled south of Limonite Avenue in Eastvale as a result of the collision.
Just after 6 a.m., a full dump truck and at least one other vehicle collided, causing a chain reaction crash, according to CHP dispatch operators. As many as six vehicles were involved in follow-up crashes, according to reports from the scene. "It looks really bad," a witness said.
