Lake Elsinore Carjackers Arrested: RivCo Sheriff
Both men are being held at Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of kidnapping, robbery, carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Lake Elsinore carjacking has led to the arrests of two men who are residents of the city.
Gustavo Morales, 20, and Joshua Carreon, 21, are suspected of a carjacking at 6:50 p.m. Friday in the 31000 block of Riverside Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The victim did not know the suspects, the sheriff's department said.

The investigation led deputies to the stolen vehicle, which was found abandoned on Conard Avenue. Morales and Carreon were eventually tracked down and arrested on Saturday.
Investigators did not say how they tied Morales and Carreon to the crime.
