Free event planned for Sept. 17.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – September is recognized as National Preparedness Month, which serves as a reminder that we all must take action to prepare, now and throughout the year, for the types of emergencies that could affect us where we live, work, and also where we visit.
On September 17th from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the parking lot of Lowe’s, the City of Lake Elsinore in partnership with various community organizations will be holding a special Be Ready Lake Elsinore Emergency Preparedness Fair to educate and inform our community about the importance of getting prepared for an emergency and the simple steps we can take to get started.
The City seeks to build a disaster resilient community by inspiring individuals and families to prepare for emergencies and increase awareness of city and county emergency response plans, resources and additional training opportunities available for the community.
