Lake Elsinore/Perris Gang Task Force Investigation Nets 8 Arrests
A residence in Mead Valley was targeted in the investigation into alleged criminal activity.
MEAD VALLEY, CA — An investigation into alleged illegal activity at a home in the 17000 block of Haines Street in Mead Valley resulted in the arrests of eight people by members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 (Perris/Lake Elsinore), the sheriff's department announced Tuesday.
"During recent weeks, Perris deputies located several stolen vehicles linked to the property, as well as illegal firearms," the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said in a released statement.
Search warrants were served at the property in March 2020, and again on July 17, according to the department.

During the most recent search warrant service, "deputies discovered illegal drugs that were accessible to the children in the residence, drug paraphernalia, evidence of identity theft and fraud, ammunition, an unserialized 'ghost' firearm, and high capacity magazines," the sheriff's department announced.
During the investigation, Riverside County Code Enforcement deemed the home unsafe and uninhabitable, according to the sheriff's department.

Five men and three women were arrested as part of the investigation, although only one person remains behind bars Wednesday. Most of the arrestees were booked on suspicion of misdemeanor charges, jail records show.
Jonathan Nolan, 28, of Perris remains jailed at Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of various felonies including two warrants for possession of stolen vehicles. No bail has been set for him.
Edgar Guzman, 48, of Perris was released from custody Tuesday after being booked on suspicion of two felony and two misdemeanor firearms charges.
The remaining suspects have all been released from custody after being booked on various misdemeanor charges:
- Jose Juan Villanueva, 27, of Perris (suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia)
- Lena Amparan, 32, of Perris (suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia)
- Araceli Concebida, 32, of Homeland (suspicion of child endangerment)
- Patricia Rosales, 41, of San Jacinto (suspicion of unlawful use of identifying information)
- Jonathan Zapata, 28, of Perris (suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance)
- Trini Solis, 26, of Perris (suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance)
