Lake Elsinore 'Pick A Truck' School Supply Giveaway This Weekend
The rescheduled Pick A Truck event will be held Saturday at Launch Pointe. Here's what to know when you go!
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The second annual Pick a Truck and School Supply giveaway in Lake Elsinore was rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 24. The Event will run from 9 a.m. to 100 a.m. at Launch Pointe, located at 32040 Riverside Drive in Lake Elsinore.
"Come out and join the Lake Elsinore Station for the event," they invited. This is an opportunity for kids who are interested in police, fire, trash/recycling, and public works vehicles to head out for some hands-on fun in a free community event.
"Pick a truck that is in your sights, honk the horns and flash the lights!" The event is hands-on, enabling kids to get inside some of these large vehicles they see on the road daily.

Trucks from the Sheriff's Department will join vehicles from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, Public Works, construction tractors and dump trucks, as well as trucks from Edison, CR&R, tow trucks, and others. The Animal Friends of the Valleys will also be in attendance.
"We look forward to seeing everyone," a spokesperson for the sheriff's station said.
