Lake Elsinore Residents Invited To Time Capsule Reburial Ceremony

Community members are encouraged to head out to the special event.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Lake Elsinore residents are invited to witness a special moment in the city's history, as officials re-bury the 1991 Main Street Time Capsule. The event is planned for Friday at 3 p.m. in front of City Hall, 130 S. Main Street.

"This Time Capsule was originally placed on Main Street in 1991 commemorating upgrades to our Historic Downtown and City Hall," the city said in a news release.

The capsule was then unearthed on Dec. 11, after 25 years underground.
