LAKE ELSINORE—Heidi Matthies Dodd, Trustee Area 3, was unanimously selected to continue a second year as President of the Board during a regular meeting held on December 17, 2020. Juan I. Saucedo, Trustee Area 4, will continue as Clerk of the Board, which he has held since the last reorganizational meeting on Dec 16, 2019.

President Dodd has served on the Board of Trustees since 2010. She is a graduate of Elsinore High School and received her B.A. in Journalism from San Diego State University. President Dodd brings vast experience as an active community leader, parent, and school volunteer. She is the former President of the Lake Elsinore PTSA Council, in addition to being active in the Elsinore Woman’s Club and the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Board Clerk Saucedo is a second term Trustee. He is also a past LEUSD Board President and Clerk.

In additional action, the Board of Trustees approved the calendar of Trustee meeting dates for 2021. Public session begins at 6 p.m., in the Board Room, 545 Chaney Street, Lake Elsinore, unless otherwise noted. Regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month except when denoted by asterisk (*). The public is welcome. Board agendas are posted on the district web site.
