As 2015 comes to an end, the people over at the real estate tracking firm Estately decided to see what different regions across the nation were searching for throughout the last 12 months.
The ensuing results were quite varied— and dare we say comical at times?
In West Virgina, people wanted to know all about the second installment of the Magic Mike franchise. While over in New Mexico, folks were curious about Pluto, the member of our solar system relegated to “dwarf planet.”
But here in the Golden State, people were most curious about the now-infamous Volkswagon scandal, after it was discovered in 2015 that the automaker had installed a “cheat device” on hundreds of thousands of its diesel vehicles.
According to Estately, here are the top searches in California:
- Kim Kardashian (reality TV personality)
- Stephen Curry (pro basketball player)
- Drought
- Water conservation
- Love wins
- U.S. Housing Bubble
