Motorcyclist Killed In Wildomar Memorial Day Crash
Cal Fire attempted life-saving measures on the victim who was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a crash on Memorial Day, according to the Riverside Sheriff's Lake Elsinore Station.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the area of Grape Street and Olive Street, Wildomar, regarding a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle. Deputies and CalFire arrived and began performing lifesaving measures until the cyclist was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where the victim was pronounced deceased.
The Lake Elsinore Station's Traffic Unit assumed the investigation. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been a factor in this collision.

"The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin," Sgt. Brad Foster said. "This is an ongoing investigation; no additional information will be released."
