Nails Spill On 91 Freeway, Flattening Tires On Dozens Of Vehicles In Corona: Report
According to CHP incident logs, nails and screws were sprawled on the eastbound side of the roadway on Thursday.

CORONA, CA – Several motorists headed east on the 91 freeway in Corona were stranded Thursday afternoon after running over nails that spilled along the roadway, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to CHP incident logs, nails and screws were sprawled on the eastbound side of the roadway. The Press Enterprise reports that approximately 40 vehicles became stranded with flat tires between Weir Canyon Road and McKinley Street beginning at 11 a.m.
Part of the eastbound side of the freeway was closed as crews worked to remove the nails, according to the P.E. Read more here.
