PERRIS, CA — Two men suspected of selling stolen goods online were arrested Tuesday during an undercover operation by deputies from the Perris Sheriff's Station.

Colton resident Isaac Campos and Charles Tesconi of Perris were taken into custody after a day-long investigation that began that morning in Perris. Deputies were investigating a work truck break-in in the 1900 block of Driftwood Court where approximately $1,500 worth of tools were stolen, according to sheriff's Sgt. Victor Pierson.

Later in the day deputies learned the stolen tools were being sold on a popular online site. Acting as an interested buyer, one of the deputies reached out to the seller — an $800 price was negotiated and a meeting spot arranged, according to Pierson.
