Paraglider Rushed To Hospital After Being Rescued Near San Jacinto
The paraglider was hoisted to an awaiting air ambulance and was rushed to a trauma center.
SAN JACINTO, CA — A paraglider was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries Sunday after being rescued from a hillside in an unincorporated area near San Jacinto, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to the area of Soboba Road, east of State Street, around 9 a.m. Sunday to a report of a paraglider down on the hillside, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Rescue crews made access to the paraglider via utility task vehicles, but later requested a hoist helicopter assist.
