Parolee Captured After Police Chase Across Lake Elsinore
Along with multiple patrol cars, the sheriff's helicopter and a K-9 team were involved in the chase that ended at Victoria Brooke Lane.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A parolee who led a police chase across Lake Elsinore Thursday night was captured and found with drugs and a stolen gun, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The suspect, later identified as Dennis Morales, 30, of Lake Elsinore, was spotted around 9:50 p.m. driving erratically near the intersection of Rostrata and Tereticornis avenues, near Temescal Canyon High School.
When deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station tried to pull him over, Morales didn't stop, according to sheriff's Sgt. Sarah Mack.

The pursuit continued over to Lake Elsinore's westside, north of the lake. Along with deputies in patrol cars, the sheriff's helicopter and K-9 team were also called in.
At some point in the chase, Morales decided to make a getaway on foot, but he was finally captured at Victoria Brooke Lane, according to Mack's report.

Morales was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for driving under the influence, evading police, drug possession, felon in possession of a firearm, and parole violation.
