Southbound 15 Freeway Reopens In Lake Elsinore After Multi-Vehicle Crash (patch.com) — Drivers in Lake Elsinore faced a major backup Tuesday evening after a multi-vehicle crash on southbound I-15 at Railroad Canyon Road shut down all lanes for more than an hour and a half. One lane reopened just before 8 p.m., with full clearance by 8:10 p.m., as Cal Fire and CHP crews responded and investigators worked to determine what caused a driver to lose control and hit several vehicles.

Motorcyclist Killed In Ortega Highway Crash Just East Of OC-RivCo Line (patch.com) — A 37-year-old Walnut motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a solo crash on Ortega Highway just west of Lake Elsinore, about a half-mile east of the Riverside–Orange County line. CHP investigators say he failed to navigate a curve, hit a guardrail and was ejected, and they're asking anyone who saw the collision to contact the Temecula CHP office.
   

4.
