Pedestrian Struck By 2 Vehicles, Killed In Lake Elsinore
The individual was walking near the middle of an intersection when hit, officials said.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A person walking near the middle of a Lake Elsinore intersection died Monday morning after being hit by two vehicles, according to authorities.
Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station were called shortly after 6 a.m. to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Broadway Street, where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
The individual, who reportedly was wearing all dark clothing, was walking in the intersection when struck by two vehicles traveling south on Grand.

The Lake Elsinore Station Traffic Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash, which closed Grand in both directions for approximately five hours, deputies said, adding that it is "unknown if alcohol/drugs may be a factor in this collision."
The department did not release the gender, age or name of the victim.
