Prescribed Burn Underway Near El Cariso Village
Expect smoke to continue throughout the day Friday.
EL CARISO VILLAGE, CA — Smoke in the mountains above Lake Elsinore is coming from a prescribed burn near South Main Divide off the Ortega Highway.
Residents began seeing smoke from the burn Friday morning. Fire crews will be continuing the work throughout the day, an official said.
