Registration Opens for Lake Elsinore's Annual Cancer Run

Around 5,000 people took part in the race in 2015.

Lake Elsinore, CA— People can now register for the 18th annual Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure to support breast cancer awareness.

The race is slated for 6 a.m. Oct. 16, according to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Attendants start at the Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium and Levee, and can take part in either a 10K run, a 5K run, or a 1-mile walk. People can register individually, or as a group online. The 1-mile and 5K runs cost $35, and the 10K competitive run costs $55.
