Riverside Fire Prompts Evacuation Order
Two air tankers and one air attack were requested to assist.

RIVERSIDE, CA — County firefighters were battling a rapid-growing brush fire Sunday that burned at least 63 acres in Riverside.
The fire was reported around 2 p.m. Sunday in the area west of Tyler Street and Mandalay Court, according to Cal Fire Riverside.
The fourth-alarm fire prompted an immediate evacuation order for the area near Gaylord Street, Eureka Drive and Mandalay Court due to the fire threatening nearby structures and life.
