Teen Dies in Lake Elsinore Crash
Coroner's officials report the crash happened on Railroad Canyon Road at Church Road.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA - A 19-year-old Las Vegas man was killed in a single- vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore, authorities said Monday.
Joseph Castro, Jr. was the passenger in the vehicle which crashed on Railroad Canyon Road at Church Road at 12:23 a.m. Sunday, said the Riverside County coroner.
"Deputies arrived and located a single vehicle collision with debris and evidence completely blocking both sides of the roadway," said Lake Elsinore police Sgt. Nathan Kaas. "A passenger in the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene."
The crash was under investigation, he said.
