Wildomar Extends Deadline For Measure AA Committee Applications
Measure AA provides local funds for public safety and other city services.

WILDOMAR, CA — The city of Wildomar announced on Wednesday another extension of the deadline to apply for the Measure AA Oversight Advisory Committee.
Measure AA provides local funds for public safety and other city services. The committee is tasked with overseeing all revenues received through Measure AA, a one-cent transactions and use tax measure that passed in 2018, are spent on permissible uses outlined in the city's municipal code.
The city previously announced a deadline extension to July 30.

The committee meets every fourth Thursday in February, May, August, and the first Thursday in December at 6:30 p.m.
The qualifications for committee applicants include:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Reside within the city limits
- Pass a background check
- Cannot be a employee, contractor, vendor or consultant who does business with the city
The city said appointments are made at-large and will be voted upon by the city council.
Members do not receive compensation for serving on the committee.
Residents interested in applying must submit their application by 5 p.m. on Aug. 13.
