2 Hospitalized After Car Strikes Lake Forest Pole, Outages Reported
Two people were hospitalized and nearby homes lost power after a vehicle struck a power pole in Orange County.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Two people were hospitalized on Sunday in a crash involving multiple vehicles in Lake Forest. One of the vehicles struck a power pole, triggering outages for nearby homes, officials said.
The collision was reported just after noon on Jeronimo Road. Officials issued a Sig Alert for Jeronimo Road between Rivendell and Green Bay, which was expected to last through the evening, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
"We appreciate the community’s patience in avoiding the area while we investigate and power is restored," officials wrote on social media.

Two drivers were taken to a hospital, but officials did not elaborate on their condition.
The Sheriff's Major Accident Reconstruction Team was investigating the collision.
