2 Killed In Suspected DUI Head-On Crash In Silverado
The crash happened at around 9 p.m. on Santiago Canyon Road and involved two vehicles, authorities said.

SILVERADO, CA — Two men were killed in a head-on crash in Silverado on Saturday evening, with alcohol suspected as one of the factors in the crash.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Santiago Canyon Road, west of Limestone Spur Road, authorities said. Both cars suffered extreme front-end damage, and a 34-year-old La Habra man driving a 2018 Ford was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 42-year-old Santa Ana man driving a 1993 Toyota was found alive at the scene and moved to Orange County Global Medical Center, where he died.

Both men were the lone occupants in their vehicles. Witnesses told the CHP the vehicles involved were a white SUV and a black pickup truck.
The CHP said alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
