Two men were arrested Friday in connection with the explosion of a car last month in Lake Forest.
LAKE FOREST, CA — Two Orange County men have been arrested in connection with the explosion of a car last month in Lake Forest, authorities told the Orange County Register Friday.
Mission Viejo resident Joshua King, 52, and Westminster resident Robert Forbes, 55, were arrested Thursday on suspicion of three felony charges per suspect, including possession of an explosive device, OCSD Sgt. Todd Hylton told the OC Register.
The men were arrested after investigators used video and other evidence to link the men to the Aug. 26 explosion at a business complex in the 22600 block of Lambert Avenue in Lake Forest.

Hylton told the OC Register that it appeared that an illegal firework had been set off in the car. He said that a "build-up of pressure" within the car jettisoned projectiles at a 100-foot radius into the surrounding parking lot.
No one was injured in the blast.
