4 LA Men Arrested In Connection With South OC Robbery

A bank-jugging incident that happened in Irvine led to four arrests last week, the Irvine Police Department reported.

IRVINE, CA — Four suspects were arrested in connection with a bank-jugging incident reported in Irvine, authorities said this week.

The Los Angeles-area suspects were charged with burglary and conspiracy and identified as Christopher Mark Williams, 26, Camran Newtt Lorenzo, 23, Jailyn Lamuir Blackmon, 18, and Arthur Ephraim Brown, 25.

The initial incident was reported last week after a man withdrew money from the bank, placed it in his vehicle and went shopping at an Irvine Walmart.

A suspect smashed the victim's car window and stole both cash and personal property, police said.

According to police, the arrests were made after a witness called the department and reported updates on where the suspects were. Thanks to the call, officers caught up to the vehicle and arrested the suspects in Fountain Valley.
