5 Freeway Closure Starts Monday In Lake Forest: What To Know

The closure is a part of the Orange County Transportation Authority's freeway improvement project.

LAKE FOREST, CA — The Orange County Transportation Authority is planning full on-ramp closures on the Interstate 5 Freeway traveling through Lake Forest.

The nine-day closure will affect the El Toro northbound straight on-ramp starting Oct. 23 and ending Nov. 1.

The closures will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily. Residents can expect to plan for additional travel time through the area.
