$7B Biotech Company Leaves OC For Texas, Citing Business Advantages: Report

IRVINE, CA — A SoCal company is upending its Golden State roots and headed for Texas, the California Post reported.

CG Oncology, a Nasdaq-traded company focused on developing treatments for bladder cancer valued at $7 billion, has relocated its corporate headquarters to Dallas, the report said.

The Irvine-based company now operates out of Pegasus Park, a roughly 26-acre Dallas campus built around life sciences, research and entrepreneurship, the report said.

"Dallas provides CG Oncology with a strategic home within one of the nation's fastest-growing life sciences ecosystems," Vice President Sarah Connors told the California Post. "Pegasus Park's unique combination of research institutions, healthcare innovation, talent and connectivity supports our long-term vision."
