Adult Rescued At Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park

LAKE FOREST, CA -- An adult was airlifted to an Orange County trauma center Saturday after a medical emergency in the Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park near Lake Forest, authorities said. The call came at 10:46 a.m., said Capt. Alan Wilkes of the Orange County Fire Authority.

Orange County Sheriff's Department's Duke 6 helicopter located the injured person at Billygoat and Red Rock Trails, Wilkes said.

The patient was treated at the scene and airlifted to a hospital. The gender of the patient and nature of the medical emergency were not available.
