Aliso Creek CleanUp Today

Starts at 9 am

Team up with The City of Lake Forest and Wal-Mart to help maintain one of the most popular trails in Orange County! Join other Lake Forest residents, community groups, and City staff in removing litter from a portion of the Aliso Creek Trail. Volunteers will be supplied with gloves, trash bags, reacher sticks, snacks, beverages, sunscreen, and riverbed cleanup shirts!

It starts today (Saturday) at 9 am and continues until 11:30. We'll gather at Cherry and Fernback Street.

Some people like to work along the trail and others go closer to the creek. If you go closer to the creek keep in mind that the area is a little rough so you'll want to wear sneakers or hiking boots.

PS - If you're not too tired from helping clean up the creek, you might want to attend PRELUDE IN THE PARK beginning at 4 pm at Pittsford Park. This family event will feature the award-winning El Toro High School music ensembles, including Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Drum Line and Color Guard. It's a great event for the whole family.
