• 2026 Election Results: In California's AD-72 race, 4 are vying for the open seat (ocregister.com) — Lake Forest residents are central in this AD-72 primary, where local community activist Frank Wagoner is one of four candidates vying to represent a district that includes Lake Forest, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods and coastal cities. Early returns show Chris Kluwe leading, with Gracey Van Der Mark close behind, while candidates outline contrasting views on taxes, crime, housing, immigration and the state budget.    

• Orange Takes Steps to Open New Skatepark (voiceofoc.org) — Lake Forest skaters get a shoutout as Orange moves ahead with a $2.8 million skatepark at Grijalva Park, part of a broader wave of skatepark expansions across OC.
