Anaheim High School Lockdown Lifted Wednesday
Gunshots reported nearby, this Anaheim High school was locked down on Wednesday morning while police investigated.

ANAHEIM, CA — With no sign of a crime being committed, the Anaheim Police Department received the all clear and lifted the lockdown on Anaheim High School at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Reports of shots fired in the area were taken seriously by the Anaheim Police Department, who placed the Anaheim High School on a lockdown Wednesday morning just before 7 a.m. Arriving students were diverted to St Boniface.
The lockdown was a precautionary measure, according to officials. "There was no evidence of a crime, and the students have resumed normal school activities," Anaheim Police said over Twitter at 8 a.m.

Reports of shots being heard in the area near the school (not on the school grounds) led to the lockdown, an Anaheim Police Department spokesperson said.
