LAKE FOREST, CA— Do you have what it takes to represent your city? A recent departure by Leah Basile has left an opening in the Lake Forest City Council.
Applications are now being accepting for the vacant Lake Forest City Council seat.
Registered voters who live in Lake Forest can apply for the seat, which opened when Leah Basile resigned from Council because of a family move.

The seat is an at-large seat, meaning applicants can live anywhere within the City.
The term runs until the November 2020 election.

www.lakeforestca.gov or the application packet may be picked up from the Office of the City Clerk, 25550 Commercentre Dr.
Application deadline for all materials is 5 p.m. Wednesday, October
9.
The City Council is expected to consider applications at its October 15 meeting.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 25550 Commercentre Dr.
