“Around the Lake” informs you of events, activities, and people around Lake 1. Here’s an overview of upcoming events “Around the Lake” this coming week –

Play is free for members. Their guests must pay $3.00 fee. Paddles and balls available at the front desk at no charge.

Weather permitting Pickleball is played every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday at 8:00 am. Courts are open at other times for play.

 

WEDNESDAY APRIL 9

Soroptimists International of Lake Forest, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

SILF has their monthly meeting. SILF is a volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls. Check them out at http://silakeforest.wildapricot.org/

Boy Scout Troop 628, 7:00 pm

Troop 628 is a dynamic Troop with a long history in the Saddleback Valley. We have drawn boys from all of our neighboring cities because we have one of the most active balanced programs in the area as well one of the best meeting facilities.

Community Garage Sale, 7 am to 11 am

Cost is $10 per space (2 space limit).  A free cup of coffee and a donut will be available for homeowners who are selling items.  Those selling items must bring their own tables and chairs.  No refunds.

COUNTDOWN TO THE LAGOON

Orange County’s most luxurious  swim lagoon has been under construction for several months and we are now counting down 10 weeks before it opens. Here’s a photo. The water is still being pumped into the lagoon. Next week we will start the landscaping.
