Benefit Equity 2nd Annual Golf Classic Raises $5,000 for Orange County's Council on Aging

Benefit Equity, Inc., recently raised $5,000 for Orange County's Council on Aging with its Golf Classic

Local retirement administration firm Benefit Equity, Inc., recently raised $5,000 for Orange County’s Council on Aging with its 2nd Annual Golf Classic, held on Oct. 23, 2015 at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club.

Sponsored by Nationwide, John Hancock, Transamerica, Principal Financial, Heartland Ovation Payroll, Meeder Financial, American Century Investments, PIMCO, Eaton Vance, California United Bank, First Foundation, Wespac Advisors SoCal and Professional Capital Services the event hosted 18 teams totaling 72 top financial advisors and clients for an enjoyable afternoon of golf and networking for a great cause. The event also included an opportunity drawing and silent auction with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Orange County’s Council on Aging.

Principal Financial’s team of Dan Mohr, Kevin Suen, Jeff Stanga and Kevin Darger won the 2nd Annual BEI Golf Classic. Awards for individual performance were given out as follows:

“We’re grateful for the amazing support and friendship of so many trusted financial advisors and small business owners in Orange County who came out to be a part of this event benefitting such an important cause,” said Michael Gorelick, tournament organizer and senior pension consultant, Benefit Equity, Inc. “We are thrilled this year to not only double the tournament size, but also double the charitable proceeds from the event.”
