Big Rig Flips, Person Injured On 133 Freeway In Irvine: SigAlert
Three lanes on the freeway were blocked after a semi truck flipped and landed on its side late Tuesday morning.

IRVINE, CA ā At least one person was injured when a big rig crashed on the California State route 133 Freeway Tuesday afternoon traveling through Irvine, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officers were dispatched to the southbound 133 Freeway junction where the road meets the 405 Freeway at 11:23 a.m. late Tuesday morning. At the scene, officers found a big rig and its trailer on its side.
At least one person was injured in the crash. Their status was not known.

The crash blocked three lanes on the freeway junction and prompted officials to issue a SigAlert "until further notice" while authorities assess the scene. The northbound 405 Freeway connector to the southbound 133 Freeway was blocked as of noon.
It was not immediately known if anyone else was involved in the crash.
