Bond Fire: Two Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze
Two firefighters who suffered injuries in the Bond Fire Thursday were treated by medics then transported to a nearby hospital.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Two firefighters battling the Bond Fire on Thursday suffered unknown injuries, Orange County Fire Authority reports.
OCFA Chief Brian Fennessy reported that both firefighters, members of the US Forest Service crew, were treated by paramedics and transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
They were both released from the hospital on Friday, according to reports.

The exact nature of their injuries, or how they are faring as of Friday, was not released.
Two months ago, two hotshot firefighters from the Santiago Hand Crew were critically burned setting a backfire, and remain hospitalized, according to reports.
